Built Cybernetics - Interim Results
Allenby updated research note and other analysis available on their site here: https://www.allenbycapital.com/client/built-cybernetics-plc/
Built Cybernetics has released its interim results for the six months ended March 31, 2026. The company grew recurring revenues strongly, though fewer projects meant it reported a decrease in revenue from continuing operations by 4% to £9.9 million, with a trading loss for the period increasing to £0.5 million. The ARR from the company's software increased by 37% to £1.03 million, and Smart Core total deployments increased by 14% to 3.3 million sq feet of commercial floorspace. Furthermore, the company launched a new Smart Cities/Smart Infrastructure business, MapBI. Post period end, £650,000 was raised through a fundraise completed in May at 1.5 pence per share, with significant investment by directors and employees. This additional funding will support the company's growth initiatives.
The company remains focused on creating a smart buildings group with predictable, scalable, and high-margin recurring revenues. While project-based revenues will always be vulnerable to delays or other challenges, recurring revenues continued to grow strongly. The company continues evaluating acquisition opportunities to accelerate recurring revenue growth and strengthen its technology capabilities.
