MapBI Progressing Well

The Group has updated the market on progress at MapBI, whose proprietary 3D visualisation software was acquired by the Group in November 2025.

Less than three months since commencing trade, MapBI has successfully signed up all previous clients of the software. This is a key step for MapBI as these clients provide approximately £20,000 in monthly recurring revenue and allow for continued development of the software as well as the opportunity to further develop its client pipeline.  The Group’s current client base, including property developers and owners of multiple properties are also applicable use cases for the software, and remain a key aspect of MapBI’s continued growth plan.

A further positive development is MapBI’s selection for participation in Thames Freeport’s Connectivity Lab.  The Lab is designed to implement technological developments already being used elsewhere and prove their application and value in day-to-day operations at various factories and ports across the United Kingdom.  Participants in the 10-week programme were selected from a field of 150 applicants from both the UK and overseas, with MapBI being one of eight chosen following a pitch day in November.  MapBI’s contribution to the project, delivered in tandem with L Marks and Cambridge Management Consulting, will take place at DP World London Gateway, a highly advanced logistics hub located in South East England.  Here, MapBI will be developing and implementing their digital twin technology for container inventory, optimising both planning and decision making at the port.  This will not only improve tracking and visibility of assets on the premises but help to reduce delays and increase efficiency throughout the terminal. The MapBI team will work directly with on-site teams and leadership to demonstrate the practical use of its software and continue to refine it with the goal of further investment and implementation opportunities across the region and the globe.

The selection and participation in this project continues to build on MapBI’s reputation as a leader in the Smart Port and Smart City space, with success already having been achieved using similar data and insights at the Port of Belfast and in European cities.
